Push Email for the iPhone, finally!

By VerSe On July 8th, 2008

Now while I may not be a fan of the iPhone (I’m a die hard Blackberry user), I do note that the iPhone has G Style. This is a visually cool device. However the one thing it just didn’t have was Push email. But it seems tomorrow that is about to change. Tomorrow come time between 6pm and 12am (according to BGR) Apple will be rolling out MobileMe.

The concept of MobileMe is to sync your mobile phone with your MAC or PC at home so that no matter where you are you are up to date. One of the features of MobileMe is that it stores all your email, contacts, and calendars on an online server and pushes them to your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC. When you make a change on one device, the it will update the others. This happens automatically, instantly, and continuously. Another feature is Me.com; with Me.com you will be able to check your email, change your calendar, edit your contacts, and more. Me.com is a free suite of web applications - Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Gallery, and iDisk.

So iPhone/iPod Touch users celebrate, this to me would be somewhat of the MAC version of the Blackberry BIS accounts, sort of, but definitely celebrate Push email! and stay tuned. For more information check out www.me.com

New In Theatre Review:Hancock starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron

By ewilliams On July 7th, 2008

It’s a man in a flying iron suit, it’s a green behemoth, no it’s Will Smith!?!? This past weekend brought us the “King of the 4th of July opening weekend” actor, Will Smith. In this new movie Will plays “Hancock”, a superhero who doesn’t much like his role as the savior of the city. Hancock tells the story of a man who has super human strength, and is able to fly. He is the only one of his kind, and therefore must be the protector of the city. He doesn’t much like the role, and basically just drinks all day

Thank You for Joining Us During The Summer So Far!

By VerSe On July 1st, 2008

So far we are kicking off the Summer nicely. We like to personally thank the 11,000+ people who stopped by our “Summer Home” during the month of June. Summer is here and we are enjoying the weather right alongside you guys (and gals). We have definitely kicked it up a notch this year. We like to personally thank Diddy and Cassie for introducing us to almost 40,000 new people last month, who are enjoying what they see here and coming back. Yes some of you are still coming to see that post (wow ya’ll must love some Diddy and Cassie lol), but a lot of you are enjoying the G Style Movement now as well.

This is also a good start of the Summer for us, as we have passed our 200th post mark. While this maybe be nothing to some sites, being that we converted to this format back in October of last year, this is out 201st post since that time. And we are looking forward to 200+ more.

We are in July now, Summer is still in full effect and there is going to be more from G Style. Check out our movie reviews in the G-Zone area, especially the recent one of Wanted, though I personally have to disagree with the critic on this one. And check out this week’s one for Hancock. So keep coming back, we thank you for the support and hope you are enjoying the Summer so far!
